Test Engineer - Software and Network Communications
The Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) is a weapons system which produces military intelligence collected by systems such as: the U-2 Dragonlady, RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 Predator. It consists of computer hardware and software connected together in a computer network, devoted to processing and dissemination of information such as images and other intelligence data. The successful candidate will support the program office during the system life cycle by providing technical assistance and advice in test and evaluation engineering activities to include efforts that support or contribute to improved system performance; program/project management; logistics and operations management; project monitoring and reporting; data collection; performance auditing; administrative technical support.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
SECURITY PREREQUISITE: Must have and maintain an ACTIVE Top Secret SCI clearance.
8+ years overall industry experience
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
6+ years of experience with NETWORK systems
Apply engineering test principles to network design & operation, operations, consolidations and network migration (including servers, storage, workstations, software applications, and enterprise services)
2+ years of experience with System Acquisition
2+ years of experience in Testing & Evaluation – executing/witnessing Site Acceptance Tests
2+ years of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) or Program Management Office experience
SECURITY PREREQUISITE: Must have and maintain an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance, and able to successfully obtain a CI Poly.
