    Responsibilities

    Noblis is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with a Top Secret SCI clearance to work in Warner Robins, GA.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    The Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) is an enterprise C4ISR system which produces military intelligence collected by systems such as: the U-2 Dragonlady, RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 Predator.  It consists of computer hardware and software operating in a distributed computer network, devoted to processing and dissemination of information such as images.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting complex technical infrastructures, hardware, and system software components. As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with various Infrastructure Team Leads and technical teams to ensure successful requiements management, integration, deployment and sustainment of system capabilities. This position will have the opportunity to support next generation open architecture initiatives at AF DCGS and transition to an agile development environment.

     

    Qualifications

    SYSTEMS ENGINEER

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Must have and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance
    • Five (5) years of direct and relevant experience in engineering activities within the last ten (10) years
    • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, computer hardware and computer software
    • Knowledge of engineering principles to acquire, implement, design, develop architectures, and maintain integrated computer systems. 
    • Able to analyze data for evaluation of operational systems to establish requirements for modification or replacement.
    • Must have significant experience managing tools for System/Subsystem requirements. (e.g. DOORS)
    • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervising system design, integration, and/or analytical projects.
    • Substantial C4ISR systems engineering experience

    EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Degree in Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or equivalent; Bachelor of Science (Master of Science preferred) degree in engineering from an ABET accredited, or equivalent, engineering program. 
    • Experience must include technical involvement in one or more of the following: research, design, development, production, testing, and performance of theoretical studies, analysis of system design, recommendations to expand performance and enhance design of applicable system, knowledge of storage hardware & software design
    • Must have experience and skills necessary to perform the following tasks: 1) provide highly technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems; 2) perform in all phases of hardware/software analysis, evaluations, development, and integration/implementation; 3) develop standards and guidelines for tasks being performed; 4) develop system specification and system interface specifications; 5) requirements and configuration control management

    DESIRED SKILLS: 

    MS in Engineering.
    10 + years of C4ISR systems engineering experience.
    Relevant C4ISR experience with the following:

    • Use Case Development
    • Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams
    • Risk Management
    • DOORS
    • Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
    • Storage Area Network (SAN) hardware and software design
    • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development
    • Information assurance compliance and mitigation efforts
