    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Lead projects from user needs prioritization through concept development and user story writing to supporting development and deployment as Business Analyst subject matter expert
    • Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement
    • Work with Product Owner and users to determine operational objectives of business needs and elicit requirements
    • Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered
    • Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed
    • Work with IT and mission stakeholders to review, update and maintain business process roadmap of the “to-be” system and evaluate areas of re-engineering by outlining potential “to-be” processes
    • Distill complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
    • Collaborate as member of multi-functional scrum team to convey Product Owner needs to team
    • Work with government leads to manage scope of new project enhancement requests
    • Serve as resource to testing and user support teams on expected system behavior
    • Collaborate with training team for knowledge transfer
    • Take initiative to learn existing system capabilities and grow knowledge base on complex system

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Current TS eligibility required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience, with minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in Business Analyst/Requirements Analyst type role
    • Familiar with Agile development practices, agile certification such as Agile/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe Certification required
    • Demonstrated experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, TFS, etc. is required
    • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Product Owners, users, developers, and testers to develop, refine, and communicate requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to interact directly with business owners/users to interpret business needs and large problems and distill them into workable components
    • Experience with complex system in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Experience supporting full software development lifecycle (business process, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, training)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well in a mixed team of government personnel and other contractors
    • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and subject matter
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and strong facilitation skills
    • FBI experience a plus
