    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct training gap analysis and design, develop, and deliver training plan and associated materials to support the adoption of enterprise IT products.
    • Assesses industry training tools to augment and incorporate into training approach.
    • Design and develop new training products for new releases or to address additional training needs. Includes creating reference guides, interactive demos, and videos utilizing Adobe Captivate, SnagIt, and other rapid development tools/software.  Draft content for approval.
    • Update existing training materials as needed.
    • Manage completion of all training materials, including dependencies on other groups.
    • Work with developers, business analysts, testers, and other user support team members to understand content for training materials. Attend demos of new software to stay abreast of new functionality being developed.
    • Perform training administration functions, such as managing course enrollments.
    • Deliver instructor-led training and system demos as needed.
    • Develop communications plan materials.
    • Develop and disseminate training and user-support communications products.
    • Draft monthly newsletter intended for system representatives and other users.
    • Create System Help Tips and enter them into system’s HTML files.
    • Maintain User Support SharePoint pages.
    • Maintain (Add/Update/Delete) Knowledge Repository/FAQs.
    • Other responsibilities may include triaging user tickets, performing analysis on the user ticket data and make recommendations (e.g., areas for additional training) to management, working closely with the user base to identify potential software bugs, research the issue to replicate the behavior, and present findings at appropriate meetings.

    Qualifications

    • Current TS eligibility required
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience including at least 3 years of experience in providing training support on enterprise IT systems.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Training and Development, Information Technology, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning Theory, or similar
    • Experience with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model
    • Demonstrated experience with and/or training in Adobe Captivate or similar rapid development tools required
    • Demonstrated experience providing hands-on training to a large user groups is required
    • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise service-ticketing systems
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to demonstrate system functionality with user scenarios to ensure training content is accurate and reflective of business processes
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, testers, and developers to distill key training points for inclusion in training materials
    • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well in a mixed team of government personnel and other contractors
    • Demonstrated ability to work directly with user community of varying levels of expertise
    • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and subject matter
    • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
    • Certified Training Professional (CTP) a plus
    • FBI experience a plus
    • Familiarity with Agile development practices a plus
