Overview

Noblis is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join their team on a mission-critical program based in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to work on, and with, a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare for and facilitate meetings with Government Product Manager and technical team supporting crisis management application
  • In conjunction with the Government Product Manager, develop a project management plan for a crisis management application
  • Facilitate management of working group of end users from various stakeholder organizations throughout the enterprise
  • Work with Business Analyst to elicit and document application vision/concept of operations
  • Develop briefings for management communication of objectives and vision
  • Coordinate and document development schedule using Sprint milestones and roadmap, working in conjunction with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Government Product Manager
  • Develop and implement communications plan
  • Compile, analyze, and present statistics and data regarding project status and planning activities to management
  • Create general graphics and assist Government Product Manager and PMO with executive briefings
  • Communicate team progress and dependencies with other teams

Qualifications

 

  • Requires active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, or business administration or similar
  • 6 years of experience with IT projects
  • PMP Certified a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices
  • Experience with project management activities necessary to implement large scale, complex systems
  • Experience using Agile backlog management tool(s), preferably JIRA
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well in a mixed team of government personnel and other contractors
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (business process, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, training) a plus
  • Able to work collaboratively with all members of software development team
  • FBI experience a plus
