Noblis is hiring a SYSTEMS ENGINEER - ADVANCED PROTOTYPES with a Top Secret SCI clearance in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Position will begin on, near or before March 1, 2018.



  • Participate in the Military Exploitation of Reconnaissance & Intelligence Technology (MERIT) working group and shall assess and recommend proposals for technology development projects
  • Recommend acceptance or rejection of project review and trade studies, test plans and procedures, and test reports
  • Review, assess, and make comments on technical solutions for integration across PEOs and across intelligence disciplines to meet operational needs and capability gaps
  • Identify Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and recommend candidate proposals, based on validated requirements, for incorporation into Army PORs
  • Draft concepts, identify potential prototypes of capability, and demonstrate to the PORs the viability and utility of the technology insertion candidates
  • Create information and decision presentations to justify transition of technology to a POR or prototype development
  • Provide technical expertise to determine completeness of documentation used to justify Government objectives or requirements; assess products or deliverables against threshold and objective requirements; create plans to meet threshold and objective requirements
  • Deliver Intelligence capabilities cooperatively with development contractors and mission partners
  • Work effectively in a team environment in both leadership and support roles with varying Government, SETA and FFRDC teammates in a dynamic environment
  • Represent the customer in community forums
  • Identify program problems and innovative solutions
  • Perform technical coordination, risk assessment, progress tracking, and trade implementation in support of a Government team



  • Must have and maintain an Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, or testing of DoD or IC intelligence systems
  • Minimum of 2 years in a systems engineering position working on DoD programs/projects
  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Proven experience with ISR systems
  • Possess excellent written and oral communications with experience with MS Office applications
  • Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS locations as required


  • PMP or equivalent preferred
  • Army background is preferred
  • Recent experience supporting the IC and/or DoD Intelligence Customers
