Responsibilities

Noblis is hiring a Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance in Chantilly, VA. 

 

The Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) will:   

  • Coordinate, generate and review SOWs, SOOs, PWSs, RFPs, and Product Change requests for new requirements and assist the in evaluation of development contractor proposals.
  • Assist the Technical Adviseor in the development of technology road-maps and investment strategies.
  • Participate in IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs and PMRs to ensure development contractors are meeting program requirements.
  • Ability to clarify description of the problems/issues, analyze causes, identify and assess alternatives, implement the best solution, and validate the problem was resolved.
  • Familiarity with project management, scheduling, requirements, configuration management, risk management, metrics development and analysis, verification and validation test activities, acceptance activities and development activities such as AGILE and SDLC.
  • Support the Technology Adviser with project implementation expertise, to include program reviews, budget formulation, staff planning, technical interchanges, and assessments of implemented technology against stated requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have and maintain an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance and be able to obtain additional clearance tickets or a polygraph as required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of Space engineering experience in industry or DOD/IC community Acquisition Project Management OR/
  • OR - Master’s Degree and 3+ years of Space engineering experience in industry or DOD/IC community Acquisition Project Management
  • Must have at least 8 years overall experience
  • Detailed knowledge of technology implementation
  • Understanding of TacDSR (Tactical Defense Support Reconnaissance) Program 
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills required
