Responsibilities

This effort encompasses current synchronizing Army GEOINT cloud efforts with DoD and IC cloud enterprise architectures. Participation in DoD and IC Community cloud forums.  Seek and exploit synergies with National Agency and other Service's cloud development activities which benefit various Army GEOINT architectures implemented across DoD, Army, and the IC.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in activities to ensure Cloud-based architectures, technologies and capabilities
  • Provide technical expertise in the lab with hands on development, management, and deployment planning of GEOINT software and IT infrastructure
  • Provide  integration of development efforts to modernize military intelligence and operations across Commands
  • Study and analyses of the current DoD and IC cloud architectures 
  • Identify gaps across current architectures that impede access, discovery, exploitation, and sharing

  • Propose recommendations

  • Include current and planned PM SAI, PM DCGS-A, and PM MC architectures

  • Be all inclusive from an overarching Military Intelligence perspective

  • Analysis of capabilities for hand held devices and disconnected operations of disperse units

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must have and maintain an Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
  • BS in engineering, mathematics, physics, equivalent scientific discipline; OR significant domain experience and customer knowledge
  • At least 8 years plus of recent applicable experience
  • Experience developing cloud architectures for extremely large enterprise applications - preferrably in the current customer environment
  • Strong knowledge of the components and subcomponents of cloud architectures
  • 8+ years in support of Military and/or IC systems and capability development
  • Knowledge of the IC customer's architectures and programs

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Excellent written and oral communications, and MS Office applications
  • Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS locations as needed

Desired:

  • Master's degree in pertinent field preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Army background is preferred
  • Knowledge of IC functional manager’s organizations, roles and responsibilities within the current customer intelligence community
